Cultural Research Centre is happy to announce that our collaboration with eRko Slovakia has been renewed for another 3 years (2025-2028). The management on behalf of the entire team and the communities we serve, extends our deepest gratitude to eRko Slovakia for approving the grant that will enable us to continue our Functional Adult Literacy Programme.
This support is not just financial assistance, it is an investment in people’s dignity, empowerment, and future. This support offers a lifeline that transforms lives by opening doors to education, independence, and opportunities for countless adults in our community.
Through this program, women and men who once struggled with reading and writing are now able to:
- Read and write
- Manage small businesses with improved record keeping
- Improve on their agricultural practices for better yields
- Participate more actively in community decision-making
- Support their children’s education with confidence
Cultural Research Centre remains committed to ensuring that every adult learner gets the opportunity to unlock their potential through literacy. This programme shall be carried out in the villages of Bukooma, Bukoova, Bunafu, Budhuuba, Bulike, Bukyangwa, Gwembuzi, Idoome, Kirimwa, Naigobya and Irongo in Luuka district.
Thank you to everyone from eRko Slovakia for making this possible. Together, we are writing a brighter future. Your generosity is transforming lives and uplifting entire households in our community and with your support, we shall continue to break barriers and build pathways for lifelong learning. Thank you for believing in the power of education to change lives.
